Nubikini Studio & Co. is a design studio based in Bogotá, Colombia. We enjoy color, lettering, logos with something to say, and projects that don’t quite fit into boxes. Sometimes we illustrate, sometimes we create identities, or draw weird letters that somehow make sense. Sometimes we just open a blank document and hope for the best. We don’t really believe in fixed rules (though we have created a few for ourselves). We like it when a brand has personality — and when we get to push it a little further.

We don’t do everything. But what we do, we do with heart.

Behind the name is Nubia Navarro — a typography lover, color enthusiast, and proud creative shapeshifter. With over 13 years of experience, she leads the studio and brings bold ideas to life through custom type, illustration, and the occasional beautifully chaotic sketch.

The studio (we mean a small room in her house) works as a flexible creative collective: a core vision led by Nubia, powered by talented collaborators such as Cami, Juanda, Boni, Leady & Julián, who jump in depending on the project — all hands on, always all heart.

We’re passionate about building bold brand identities from the ground up — crafting strategy, design, and storytelling that feel as good as they look. From concept to production, we partner with clients through branding, art direction, and visual development to bring their stories to life. Our approach blends structure with spontaneity: we believe in emotion-driven work that not only looks great, but also works — for the brand, the audience, and the moment it lives in.

We call our process a Creation Playground because we make space for exploration, surprise, and purposeful design. No project leaves the studio without intention, curiosity, and a little fun.

Our work has been recognized by the Latin American Design Awards, the Type Directors Club, and Communication Arts — but what we value most is creating design that connects.
